The Human Geography and Planning major provides a pathway to full recognition as a professional planner. Students complete five years of study, consisting of a three-year undergraduate degree followed by up to a two-year Master of Urban and Regional Planning, to be eligible to apply for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia.
